About us

Saint Benedict Bilingual Catholic College is a Catholic secondary education institution run by missionaries from the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception. It is located in the Archdiocese of Yaoundé at a place called Mvolyé, very close to the Basilica Marie Reine des Apotres and right next to the St Paul printing press. It welcomes young people from all social, cultural and religious backgrounds. Its vocation is to ensure the integral formation of the children entrusted to it. It offers an education which, based on Christian moral and spiritual values, places the child at the center of his learning, teaches him to take charge of himself.
At Saint Benoît, we develop a sense of personal responsibility, a taste for service and effort, openness to the universe, awareness of solidarity.
Growing up in Saint Benedict means not only training through a pedagogy of transfiguration but above all learning through a pedagogy centered on the development of human, intellectual and spiritual qualities in order to:
- Become an actor of his life.
- Become responsible for one's work, gestures and words.
- Become independent
- persevere in the effort.
